EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy is a highly effective modality for healing past traumas, addressing current triggers, and adopting more self-accepting and future-oriented beliefs. EMDR has also been proven highly effective in treatment of anxiety and anxiety-related disorders, depression, somatic complaints, and other mental health difficulties. 

Parts-Centered Modalities

 Internal Family Systems (IFS), Ego State Therapy, and Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy (DNMS) allow clients to work with parts of themselves stuck in ineffective patterns of responding or harmful behaviors. They are especially well-suited to repair damage done in early attachment relationships, in order to establish  healthy and content relationships in the present.

 Sandtray Therapy is an expressive modality that allows clients to tap into the emotional right side of their brain to work through issues, while traditional talk therapy relies on the more logical and laguage-dependent left side. With Sandtray Therapy clients are able to deepen their processing and represent parts of their experience they otherwise might not be able to verbalize. Sandtray therapy is also an essential tool when working with children and adolescents.

 Dialectical Behavioral Therapy focuses on skill building in the areas of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation,  and interpersonal effectiveness. The individual tools DBT offers clients are proven highly effective to manage stress, anxiety, difficult emotions, and problematic relationship interactions.  

Mindfulness

 Mindfulness interventions help clients shift their focus from painful thoughts of the past and anxious worries about the future back into the present. Clients learn to find moments of calm and enjoyment in their lives while staying grounded in their bodies and in their environment.
